Product Safety & Liability Notice

Please read this notice carefully before installing or using the ANKR-POINT™ Bow Retention System. By purchasing, installing, or using this product, you acknowledge and accept the responsibilities, warnings, and limitations described below.

⚠ Important Safety Warning

Improper installation, positioning, or use of rigid equipment inside a vehicle may increase the risk of injury, death, or property damage in the event of a sudden stop, accident, or collision.

  • Install and use only as directed.
  • Do not position the mounted bow or retention system where it is directly in front of, or may impact, any vehicle occupant.
  • Ensure the mounted system and bow do not interfere with airbags, driver visibility, seat movement, passenger space, or child safety restraints.
  • Always confirm the bow is fully seated and the system is secure before operating the vehicle.
  • Remove the bow when not in use, and consider removing the mounted unit to reduce potential occupant impact hazards.
  • Do not use a damaged, modified, or improperly installed product.

1. Intended Use

ANKR-POINT™ is intended to assist with the storage and transport of compatible compound bows when installed and used correctly. This product is not a safety device, restraint system, or crash-protection device. It is not intended to eliminate risks associated with transporting rigid equipment inside a vehicle.

2. Vehicle Use Warnings

Transporting rigid equipment inside a vehicle involves inherent risks. Users must evaluate their own vehicle layout, seating configuration, passenger needs, and mounting location before use.

  • Do not install or use the product in any manner that interferes with safe vehicle operation.
  • Do not allow the mounted bow or system to obstruct visibility, steering movement, seat adjustment, or access to controls.
  • Do not place the bow or mounting system where it may contact the driver or any passenger during normal driving, sudden stops, or collisions.
  • Use extra caution when passengers, children, or child safety seats are present in the vehicle.
  • Always verify that the bow is fully seated and retained before driving.
  • Inspect the product regularly and re-check mounting tightness, especially after rough-road or off-road use.

3. Installation Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for selecting an appropriate mounting location and ensuring the product is installed correctly. Improper installation may result in product failure, shifting equipment, property damage, serious injury, or death.

  • Follow all installation instructions provided with the product.
  • Do not overtighten screws or hardware.
  • Do not modify the product, substitute hardware, or alter the mounting method.
  • Do not use the product if any component appears cracked, damaged, loose, worn, or deformed.

4. Home / Wall Mount Use

When used with a wall adapter or home mounting configuration, the user is solely responsible for proper installation into a structurally suitable surface.

  • Install only into a structurally adequate mounting surface or properly supported anchored surface.
  • Improper wall installation may result in falling equipment, property damage, serious injury, or death.
  • Keep mounted equipment out of reach of children.
  • Inspect wall-mounted setups periodically to confirm continued tightness and integrity.

5. Inspection and Maintenance

Before each use, inspect the product and mounted bow for secure fit and proper positioning. Stop using the product immediately if any component becomes damaged, unstable, or unreliable.

  • Check clamp tension and attachment points regularly.
  • Confirm the bow remains properly seated before each trip.
  • Reinspect the system after off-road use, rough roads, impacts, or long periods of use.

6. Misuse and Prohibited Use

Misuse of the product may create unsafe conditions and is outside the intended scope of use.

  • Do not use the product for any purpose other than bow storage and transport.
  • Do not use it with equipment that is incompatible, oversized, or improperly seated.
  • Do not rely on the product to protect occupants in any crash or impact scenario.
  • Do not continue using the product after damage, modification, or improper installation.

7. Assumption of Risk

By purchasing, installing, or using ANKR-POINT™, the user acknowledges that transporting and storing rigid equipment involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
